I have created my Hub in an MVC 4 project. When I test it using html page, everything works fine. Then I installed the JS Client NuGet package in my Windows 8 Store app. I referenced the three script files in the html page. Basically I did exactly what I
***An app can’t load remote web content in the local context. File: default.html*** It is referring to the "/signalr/hubs" script file.
When I debug the app, I noticed that my "hub" is undefined (var hub = $.connection.client.myHub; ) In fact, the client is also undefined.
What am I missing? Thanks.

There may be more to it, but for a start, Windows Store applications can't use a loopback connection.
You can set it up as follows; however, this is for testing only, as an application with such a set up would not pass certification.
