Is this a spiteful way to get people to use IE?
Anyway, I can still see people's posts using Firefox; the CSS just doesn't work.

Try clearing your browser cache.
And to answer your question I doubt these forums would do something silly/childish like that.

I am using Firefox 20.0.1 on Windows 7 to enter this reply, and I am not experiencing any difficulties.
Can you please try clearing your browser cache and then revisiting the site? If you are still having trouble, can you take a look at
Fiddler or some other HTTP debugging tool and see if all site assets are being delivered to you? Also, if you have any browser plugins installed you might consider disabling them.
And, hopefully this would go without saying, but no, we are not trying to get people to use IE. We strive to fully support current versions of all major browsers.

I've used FF9, FF12, & FF13 with the site and other than picking tags on some posts, it works perfectly fine. I almost never use IE anymore.
