Hi. I have 2 questions. I will be very thankful if any can help me.
1- I want to create a data entry form. In which a user will provide some personal information including name and some ID numbers. Then I use the membership API to create a user for that person based on the name and ID number as user name and password. After
that I want to send other information provided by user to another database which is separate from aspnet membership database. I have my second DB (and the related tables) as a data source control. Now what do you think as a best solution. What should I do
to accomplish these steps?
2- Can I use data controls to accomplish these two steps in a same time? Like a form view to create my data entry form.
Can anyone please give me some clue about these? I really get confused? I have done some work but don’t know the clear path.

1. you can use trigger, to save the same data to different database table
pleaes have a look into this http://www.dbforums.com/microsoft-sql-server/1101774-using-trigger-insert-into-different-database.html

I'm using membership api and so I think I should do my work with .net code not in the database level. and by the way I want them to steps to happen in a transactional manner. and are all this possible with data controls ?
thank you very much.
