I've done quite a bit of asp.net coding over the years, mostly database driven websites and apps.
I have a problem to solve and was wondering what the best asp.net technology to use.
There is software that consolidates any ebay shops and other channels like amazon. This is so you only have to add stock once and it keeps stock updated for each channel.
It has a RESTful api that passes JSON formatted data. I also have a website that also uses a RESTful API with JSON. Their API does allow you to update product information like quantity and price etc.
The ebay inventory system has an interface where you can put a url to send order information to.
I want to make an application that receives these http requests when an order has happened. The app will then have to retreive all the order info and process it so that it can be sent to the other website. Field names will be different so there has to be
a middle man slightly tweaking the data to fit. This has to work both ways.
The API's are there to do it but I'm not sure where to start.
Any input is much appreciated

start with simple approach, like if external store is amazon, use my-custom-amazon-class with specific fields for amazon data.
once you got this hang on, look into interface, plug-in, or MEF architecture.

Thank you for helping Kelmen
I shall look into that approach
