I'm a bit of a newbie to data driven pages but I have developed a site with a backend Access DB and Visual Studio 2010 that I need to interrogate to produce some reports. I have done this with gridview and queries to some extent but I would like to know
how to be able to produce data using, I assume, COUNT. The example I have is a text field which is populated from a drop down in the pages so there are a finite list of possible entries. I'd like to be able to, firstly, count how many of each there are and
then output this somehow onto the page and then to put this data into a chart of some description. I prefer to use vb but could convert this I suppose.
Any hints or pointers would be gratefully received.
