I am totally at a loss on how to resolve the web service call error. The issue is that it doesn't appear all the time, but sporadically through out the day.
We have a windows service that collects (phone) call records from a local database and consumes a web service to hosted at a remote server and sends call records. The windows service is running successfull in some other machines but in one of the machine it
throws an error saying:
There was no endpoint listening at http://domain-name/CallLogService.asmx that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.
When I type the URI of web service in a browser at the client machine it works just fine. I can also check the definition of wsdl associated with the web service by pasting ?wsdl to the URI.
Is there an way to find the root cause of the error. How can I enable some kind of logs at the client and server sides that will capture the cause of the errors?
Client Machine: Windows Server 2003
Server: Windows Server 2008 R2 - 64 bit

Check this link for how you can enable trace log -
After that you can view the trace log and check what is the root cause of the problem.
