I created a website on my laptop, having Visual Studio 2010. I am able to use the WSAT tool, by browsing to ASp.Net configuration within Visual Studio 2010.
I created this webiste as website on my development server, which is Windows 2008, IIS 7.
I am trying to set up the WSAT tool on the remote server. I copied over the files related to ASP.NETWebAdminFiles to the remote servers C:\inetpub\wwwroot folder. Created an application mapping to this folder off the Default Web site. I set the mode to windows
authentication for this application.
Now, I try to browse to the website, from this application, I can see the security tab with roles created, now when I try to manage the roles, I don't see the directory structure for this website - I only see the root folder and that is it. I want to restrict
users based on the folders set up with in the web site.
Any thoughts/help is much, much appreciated!!!!
