Everybody, I am new in asp.net. I am creating a online shopping store. I have created item and category table, but the problem is each category has different specifications. How to manage this specification? Do I need to create table for each item details?
Please give me a idea to create these tables.

Depends what you mean by specification. Can you elaborate?
If you have a set of specifications that are fixed and won't change, you could merge these into a single table model, or implement two tables and merge in your code. This would be a balance on what is most maintainable.
If you need to support every changing specifications then you can create a base category table and either support each specification as a seperate table with a one-to-one relationship:
Alternatively, you could store the extension schema as XML data in a single field.
The same applies if you want to support different specifications on the item table.

Yah, thanks for the idea.
