Sry, i think this is not the right place to post this thread.. but i cant post in Wcf there ..
i developed a simple wcf service with .net framework 3.0, hosted it on server. After that, i create a simple webpage with .net framework 4.0 to use the service ...
it return security token issue.
if i create the service and webpage with .net framework 4.0 it got no issue, so is it a must to have same framework ?

It looks like it depends on the versions that are being used, as different versions can work with one another but often require some additonal configuration. According
to this MSDN discussion it looks like a 4.0 WCF Service is not compatible with a .NET 2.0-3.5 client due to some design changes.
This MSDN article covers the steps necessary to run a WCF 3.5 Service within a .NET 4.0 Environment (which would likely be the same as running a 3.0 Service), as WCF services in
3.0 required endpoint configuration, which changed with the release of the newer frameworks.
