when i include a link in a PM, instead of becoming automatically encoded as a link, normal behaviour, it is simply non-clickable as plain text.
it has happened with various links that i've included.

MetalAsp, i just tried this twice with a PM and reply to that PM to you ...
second time, in the reply, i pasted, hit enter; typed hit enter, and typed with www then pressed enter ... in all cases, it was still plain text ...
what browser and o/s are you using?

Yes, it's related. The autolinking is part of the rich text editor. If the rich text editor is not used to create a post, then the autolinking will not happen.

For me if I hit enter after passing the URL it changes to a link. But I have to hit enter after.
Edit: added missing "to".
