I have the following set in web.config.
<forms loginUrl="Login.aspx" timeout="3600" defaultUrl="Main.aspx" slidingExpiration="false" enableCrossAppRedirects="true"/>
I want to be able to only use the defaultURL as a fall back position, but for some reason it will always go here even if I use the
FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage(txtUserID.Text, rbPersistent.Checked = True)
I want to redirect to whatever the URL was that the app was being called from.

RedirectFromLoginPage requires a ReturnUrl value to be set somewhere, but usually in the querystring, like this:
If you send a request like that, it should redirect to caller.aspx after you login.
Why do you have enableCrossAppRedirects set to true? Are you redirecting to another app? Try setting it to false.
