When we full install Visual Studio, the samples will install on our disk.
According to your description, I think you didn't install the samples, so you can just download it from
And run it, it will unzip those samples to your disk, you can set the location
I have set the location D:\Projects\Sample, then WordCount sampel will locate D:\Projects\Sample\Applications\WordCount
>>I did not quite follow this path , what does “<FrameworkSDK>”mean?
If you full install visual studio, <FrameworkSDK> will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft.NET\FrameworkSDK(this for x64 OS) or C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\FrameworkSDK
>>but what I ask is that is it also located in the v/s 2010 pack
Yes, it also located in visual studio 2010 pack, but you need full install(all features and samples)
note: As our support engineer said, he has given a detailed explanation for similar issue about WordCount sample location
on 1/2, unfortunately we can't find it now.
hope it helps you,
