How many of the characters can be nested inside a max(4000) nvarchar?
I mean like if I try creating a blog for a person.
What would be the best method to create a blog, like to tell users the limit of a post? For that I should know the max characters in a nvarchar?

Nvarchar(MAX) can have 1 billion, 37 million, 741 thousand and 823 characters which allow 2GB.

By the way these characters can be alphabets, ints, date, image(Names only)?
Also what can be suitable size? Because 2Gb will bust the database in second entry

If you have proper Partitioned with proper fragmentation, Database will not burst.
As per my suggestion, you should keep it as small as possible as per your requirement.

500 would be cool?
And how to ferment the database?

yes if you require 500 if user will enter 500 characters with super special characters then its fine.
if user will not enter spcial charaters then go with varchar(500)

Use nvarchar only because it can store Unicode data and other languages too which varchar cannot.
