I'm working with the official ASP.NET walthrough series and got stuck on the page: Walkthrough:
Creating and Using ASP.NET Master Pages in Visual Web Developer
I have issues with the section: Changing Master Pages Dynamically. I have error messages like:
1 The type 'Master1' already contains a definition for 'CompanyName'
Error 2 Type 'Master1' already defines a member called 'Page_Init' with the same parameter types
I have googled and binged for a solution to no avail. Can I get a helping hand, please.

let me guess.... u have copied the old master file to create new master page file.... then, u might have missed to update the class name of new master page file... so, both old and new master pages has same class name and creating this issue...
in short u might have missed to follow step number 8 in that section of link
hope this helps...

Thanks, Kedar. But I actually changed the name to Master2 as in step 8, although I omitted it earlier. I really need assistance as I'm stuck now.
