I am developing a web application on windows 8 system using VS 2012. To be in safer side I have selected any cpu for all the project in the solution. But when I try to debug it it looks for 64 bit system assemblies (ODP.Net) and throws could not load "Oracle.DataAccess.dll".
Possibly my dev environment is looking for 32 bit ODP.net driver. is it so?
If I target x64 during debugging my primary assembly throws Bad format exception.
For a 64bit target environment what should be the configuration of Development environment?
all found articles mention how to troubleshoot 32/64 bit deployment issues but ideally does not want to make too many changes during deployment. Is it unavoidable?
