I am a beginner user of ASP.NET. I'm really curious and also don't really know how to do it when I always think to Updating the contents. My plan is that I'm gonna develop a website, publish the website with a domain name and use my computer as a web hosting
server using IIS 6.0 (IIS 5.1, just to be specific) on Win XP SP3. However, I still don't know how to update the website (for example, updating weekly).
Can anyone please help explaining how it is done??? BIG THANKS

You must create a managament panel for your website. For example wordpress, joomla. You must create your website two part. First part is your users see and second is your management panel. You will show your database content for example articles, news in
user part. And in second part you will update your contents if you have users to control them etc.
If you want host your web site you have to use static ip adress and fast upload speed and bandwidth. If you do this i suggest you buy a hosting.
Have a nice day.

Normally you have an admin panel to manage all your contents, just take a look at the popular CMS like dotnetnuke, wordpress etc then you will fully understand.
