I have a ASPnet applicaiton hosted on a server in the DMZ as a stand alone server. It is using the asp.net membership to authenticate the users. I am able to connect to the database server withint our network with the appropriate connection string, however
when ever a report is loaded, it would not allow access to the report. Any idea how I could fix it?
I tried enabling impersonation, but that messed up the authorization of pages in the app which is based on the user role. Basically, every page is viewable, but the report are still not showing

Following links may help you which discuss about configuring SSRS in the DMZ.

Hi, Thanks but it's not too specific.
My database and reporting server is not in the dmz but in our internal network on a domain. Only the web server is in the dmz. I can access my report server from a brower on the web server by providing a domain user and password. However when I impersonate
the same user in my asp app, it gives me a 401 unauthorized error.
I"m getting the following error when I pass the domain account in my identity impersonate
Parser Error Message:
Could not create Windows user token from the credentials specified in the config file. Error from the operating system 'Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

you did experience this issue simply because your SSRS user permission is not setup properly.
Please make sure that:
1. Your SSRS user has the permission to access the Windows Server
2. Your SSRS user has enough permission to access the SSRS server
