Hi there, we have a dedicated server with IIS 6.0 and SMTP Server. The site is an ASP.Net site which is sending email via the SMTP Server. Their corporate email is handled elsewhere. The site sends email confirmations for event registration for a
bunch of different visitors. How do I configure the smtp server to pass spam filters? I guess some emails are not getting delivered... it will usually bounce back to the sender.. saying:
A communication failure occurred during the delivery of this message. Please try resending the message later. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk.
I am able to send the email via the smtp server back to myself.... but I do notice the following in the email headers. How do I fix this on the server and/or DNS records....
X-Warn: HELOBOGUS HELO command domain ds555 has no A or MX records.
X-Warn: RETURNPATH Domain mywebsiteurl.org has no A or MX records.
X-Note: Spam Tests Failed: HELOBOGUS, RETURNPATH
X-Country-Path: LOCAL->UNITED STATES->UNITED STATES
X-Note-Sending-IP: X.X.X.X X-Note-Reverse-DNS: ds555.yeg.alentus.net
