my company has a lot of old projects, asp web system, asp.net 3.5 web service. Now credit company asked that we must upgrade to .net framework 4.0 or up.
production server is win2003+iis6+.net2+.net3.5, and my test server is win2008 server+iis7+.net2+.net4. I copied all codes from production server to test server, and add websites to these folders, but I didn't find .net 4 framework in list when I try to
change the asp.net version in applicaiton pools. how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

you need to download ASP.NET 4 framework first from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851 and have it installed on your server.
Then. the option will be available on the application pool

You can install asp.net 4.0 with Web Platform installer
If you open old asp.net 2.0 website project in Visual Studio 2012, VS should prompt you to upgrade project to asp.net 4.0.

I've installed .net4 framework, but I still don't find .net4 from list in applicaiton pools
I have another project developed by vs.net2010+.net4. when I deploy it , I can see 2 and 4 in list.
