I would like to suggest that when each individual posts something, that they don't receive an email notification of their posting. I like the notifications to keep up with threads that I'm involved in, but I don't need to be notified when I post on the
thread. I know I posted on the thread.
Just a suggestion. I will even be willing to code the update myself, if I'm allowed access.

There are a few people who would like access to implement their own feature requests here. Unfortunately, the forums are not an open source project and that is not possible.

I figured as much, but would it be possible for the development team to make an update like the one I mentioned about. I just feel it's kind of redundent to receive email notifications of replies that I make on posts.

The back end software is an older version of Telligent software called Community Server, and its functionality is to send you a copy of posts you make.
so changing that particular emailing behavior requires changing or replacing the Telligent Community Server software...
