(new to asp.net dev, sorry)
I created my first C# webservice on an inside server that returns a PDF. I have successfully accessed it from my webserver with classic asp/vbs using xmlhttp (old web site). But couldn't get the base64 string (inside the xml returned) converted back to a
PDF for the browser. (too slow, not right)
So I'd like (need?) to create a self contained (no code behind, reference file, ect.) C# aspx page to grab and reconstruct the PDF. I've been searching for days but can't find an example (using HttpWebRequest?) that works. I've not been able to even poke
the service never mind decode the base64.
Thank you for any help. This is beyond my current skill level / knowledge.

I've still had no luck trying to create a simple 'self contained' aspx that can trigger the webservice, never mind reassembling the PDF.
Here are a bunch of links that look like what I'm after, but I can't get anything to work. (Sorry but this is beating me up.)
I can't believe it takes so much code just to POST 1 piece of form/parameter to a URL and get back a stream.
Here is what I was going to poke at next…
