The web service my app used before is ok, however, there are some certificate issues happend yesterday and my app started to timeout. Now, it seems they fixed this issue, but my app still timeout.
The following is the response when I tried to add web reference in my app based on their service url. Can anybody help me to figure out what the error exactly mean? any idea to fix it? Thanks in advance.
There was an error downloading 'https://******./*******'.
The operation has timed out
Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: 'https://******./*******'.
An error occurred while making the HTTP request to https://******./*******. This could be due to the fact that the server certificate is not configured properly with HTTP.SYS in the HTTPS case. This could also be caused by a mismatch of the security binding
between the client and the server.
The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.
Received an unexpected EOF or 0 bytes from the transport stream.
If the service is defined in the current solution, try building the solution and adding the service reference again.
Sorry guys, I cannot provide the real url, it's our business partner.

Thank you Kdphad. I will check the link you provide me.
What I am really weird is that the app before is running perfect, and both of us do nothing changes and we never update our app. however, after certificate issue happened and fixed, timeout is still happening.
Will let you know whether the link will be help.
