This seems like the appropriate forum, and I can't think of a simpler way to ask:
What should I look at to control redirects when I have a site deployed in a subdomain scenario?
i.e; "/website1" is deployed in a directory "/_sites" which sits in my html root on my hosting account. The issue I'm having is that my page requests all navigate within the application's directory ('/website1') but when a user is REDIRECTED to our login
page, the redirect goes outside, to the "/_sites" directory and then back in.
Do I need to fix something in web.config; do I need to have a .config file in the html root (I have no experience with this scenario); do I need to fix something that is wrong in my virtual directories in IIS; do I need to work in DNS manager with CNames
or something like that?
Please suggest anything your experience says I might be overlooking. Let me know if you need to see some code, or a better explanation of the architecture of the domain. I just don't know what to supply at this point.
