You will need to start from scratch and charge the client a lot of money for the conversion.

While I am not familiar with this converter, but you have to realize that most of these will still need tweaking after the conversion process.
Crystal Reports and SSRS have different focus, so that's why I would consider doing a complete rewrite instead of converting. This will provide with most flexibility in improving the report when moving to SSRS, especially where there are significant differences
between the two reporting tools.

With all due respect Careed, it's a huge investment in time and therefore many $$$s to rewrite a bunch of Crystal report into SSRS by hand - and also extremely tedious. When a company had hundreds of reports to convert it is just cost prohibitive to even
There are some things that Crystal does that are not available in SSRS, but my experience is that automated conversion can get you 95% of the way, by extracting the vast majority of: the visual elements, converting crystal/VB into SSRS/.Net VB, and even
extracting the SQL in the flavor of database engine being targetted.
Please have a look at http://www.crystalconversions.com and/or contact email@example.com to get some free trial conversions. That way you can see how well your reports convert using an automated tool.
