as per my understanding ,Handlers are for specfic error codes.
I want something like below:
Create procedure test(_id int)
// here I want to put some try catch
// and catch would return the generated exception to application.
declare x int;
set x = 0/1;
// and a couple of other statements
-- how to achive diz ???

I don't think there's try..catch in mysql. You can declare handler for specific error result as I posted in previous link.
Also check out below link, that may give you some alternative.
