I found a lot of tutorial on how to create a .rpt with visual studio, but i cannot find a tutorial on how to execute a .rpt.
I received a .rpt file created with crystal report 11, I need to execute this .rpt and then convert it to pdf to allow the user to download the report in pdf without displaying it. So I do not need to use the report viewer.
I would like to just pass the parameters, the connection string and directly launch the .rpt. So I dont have any dataset or datasource ...
Please advice me.

execute a rpt is just
have a report viewer control and set the source

I found the solution without using a controller.
create your report document (new reportdocument())
just load the .rpt using (document.load)
set your parameter using(document.setparameter(index , value));
set your connection to the database if oracle dont mention the name of the database
