So I am making an mvc4 application, and I want the functionality (some we pages/views) to be accessible by smartphones/tablets.
Would it be suggestible to add a new project (mobile web mvc) project to they same solution where my current mvc4 project is?
If I understand correctly( please correct me if i am wrong) that I in code or the mobile templates built in classes, will detect the screen size of the clients browser and make it fit accordingly, so really I just need to do some css styling for smaller/ screens
and touch screens?
Am I on the right take?
So on deployment how do I get two projects of same solution and databse deployed when there will be 2 separate nin folders and web config files I would assume?
thanks in advance, Adam

You can deploy a mobile friendly website.
I would like suggest you read this article:
Hope it helpful.

I would recommend that you build one website that can return both mobile and desktop views. Go on to Amazon and search for the book - "Delivering Mobile-Friendly WebSites with MVC4: A Developers Guide" - it's a Kindle book that walks you through all the
steps of creating an MVC4 website that does mobile and desktop with full working code examples. That is much more elegant than having two separate sites.

There is a really useful article on CodeProject that addresses this also:
