I am trying to open a web form based application in visual studio 2003 and when i browse to the folder it display just folder
(i.e App Data and images) no other file :( what to do ?????
I didnt work on web form based application and the application iam trying to open is developed by someone else.

right click on the project and add new file and select the file whicever you want to add

I am not asking how to add a page,My question is how can i identify the framework and version of visual studio to run an application,when it is not developed by me

Can you double-check that your are trying to open project and not open file and that you have "all project files" selected in the "File of type" drop down?
If that does not help, could you open the directory containing the sln file in Windows Explorer and cut & paste the folder path from windows explorer into the "File name:" text box on the open file dialog in VS 2003? This will help verify that you are indeed
looking in the correct place.

One more idea. Can you just right-click (you may need to shift+right click) on the sln file in Windows Explorer and select "Open with" and from there pick VS 2003?

I am using windows 7+ IIS 7.5 and create a website.when i brosee it shows error :

And try to open the website(project) on visual studio by selecting > Open project from web but get error:
Unable to open web project 'jcr'.Unable to validate that file path C:\inetpub\wwwroot\jcrweb' match the URL path 'http:\\localhost\jcr'
