SPA has not been included in VS 2012 RC, it's going to be a separate in the future. See this site:

See other threads..
It is not included with MVC but the bigger issue is it wont work with any newer code like EF , VS2013 RC etc
I did some hacks but there is no easy fix best so far was to get the Upshot /SPA release on the build date for rc ( 22 april) but it needs more work. Biggest issue is the gac installed libs which need devpath overrides.

Can you explain where and how do you do devpath overrides to SPA libs?

Note Devpath is a bit horrible , only put in 1 directory , make sure its under your solution bin and make sure you have the slash at the end (DEVpath is not very forgiving)
This is needed for the html.Metadata code , note this still a work in progress trying to get it to work and im still trying to get an indication of what the best build is to use.

Sigh... any idea when SPA will be synchronized to MVC4? It's amazing (and quite possibly unacceptable) that a templated subset of MVC4 doesn't launch at the same time as the mainline product. Really makes you wonder what they are doing all day over there...
