We currently have a Windows 2003 web server that has the Microsoft Access Driver version 4.00.6305.00 installed on it. One of our developers is needing to connect to an Access 2007 database so he needs to install the new driver.
My question is, does installing this new driver replace the previous version causing any existing we application that references it to break or do they run concurrently?
Thanks in advance.

No it doesn't overwrite the Jet provider. The new provider is called ACE. Unless the 2007 db includes features specific to 2007 and above, it might be simpler to save the 2007 db down as a 2003 mdb file and continue with the JET provider.
