I have a working Rest Web Service, and I created a web page to test the results of the algorithims the Web Service is calling.
After I added a web page, and clicked Set as Start Page, the web service page that used to launch when I started debugging no longer launches.
I then tried to remove the web page, because I only needed it for testing, and when I remove the page and click 'Start Debugging', now I am shown this message:
Could not load type 'Synxi.AdaptiveDiscovery.WebService.VisualDiscovery'
Line 1: <%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Site.Master" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="VisualDiscovery.aspx.cs" Inherits="Synxi.AdaptiveDiscovery.WebService.VisualDiscovery" %>
Line 2: <%@ Register TagPrefix="synxi" TagName="LabelComboBoxControl" Src="~/Controls/LabelComboBoxControl.ascx" %>
Line 3: <%@ Register TagPrefix="synxi" TagName="RecommendationSimulatorControl" Src="~/Controls/RecommendationSimulatorControl.ascx" %>
I understand why it could not load the type, because I removed it, how do I either remove the fact that I clicked 'Set as Start Page", prior to me clicking that everything worked.
I would ideally like to keep the page, I cannot think of why the presense of a .aspx page would affect the Rest Service methods.
Has anyone else ever encountered this problem?
Should I delete the project.suo file?
Any advice on how to restore my web service to the state it was prior to adding the page?

Check your VisualDiscovery.aspx.cs file make sure this type
'Synxi.AdaptiveDiscovery.WebService.VisualDiscovery' still exist.
Then you can delete the file in bin folder and rebuild your project.
Hope it helpful.
