Please keep in mind that if you install Visual Studio 11 Beta on a machine that has Visual Studio 2010, this Beta can impact the proper operation of VS2010. One problem I discovered was it wreaks havoc with the Query Designer built into Visual Studio. Steps
Drag Sql Data Connection object onto Web Form > Click smart tag and configure data source > Choose connection string > Choose Stored Procedure or Custom SQL > Click Query Designer > Error occurs.
Your best course of action in this case is to only try the beta on a virtual machine or a machine where it is the only visual studio product installed. Obviously, trying to run the beta side by side won't work at this point. We should keep this as a running
thread in case anyone else notices odd behaviors in VS2010 after installing VS11 Beta.
