When do you get this error? Is it happening when you try to open the report? Is crystal report component installed in the webserver?

Yes.. i am getting this error when click to view report button... i have installed crbasic2008sp1 to server but still getting this error...
when i installed this set up CrystalReport10_5 created in C:/ instead of C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDK's\.....\Packages\..\CrystalReport10_5

Can you give rights to Network services user for that particular folder? May be sometimes this might be the rights issue.

I had given permissions to that folder too... still getting error...

Can you tell me the version of the .net and i think ur CR is 2008 right?
How did u install the run time in the server? did you use merge module package that comes with the .net?

Is your server 64bit? Can you let me know the complete error message?
Was the error message something like this?

The Application pool is showing 32bit...
