Currently IE8/9 from all opened tabs or IE program, it shares the same session variables. It is considered to be single session.
Looking for a ASP.NET VB.NET code Web application solution that does not merge the sessions. The intend is to have separate session on tab or IE explorer opened.
The IE -nomerge startup option is not a solution for us.

The only thing that will give you separate data per-tab is
sessionStorage from HTML5.

Would you have a solution example using sessionStorage? in VB.NET preferably.

Hi, I would like to inform that ASP.NET session state enables you to store and retrieve values for a user as the user navigates ASP.NET pages in a Web application, so different pages (such as different IE tabs or different IE windows) will share
the same session. If you want to use a page-specific server variable (which cannot be accessed by other IE tabs or windows), you can try ASP.NET View State. For more information about ASP.NET View State and Session, please refer to the following links:
