I have recently and newly installed IIS 7.5 on a Windows 7 Pro machine. This machine is to become a test environment.
My application is already running without any major issues on a hosted Windows 2008 / IIS 7.0 machine.
My application is NOT running on the test system, and I do not know how to find the problem. The symptom can be seen in the form of messages in the lower left status bar of the browser. They go by too quickly to read, but it looks like an infinite loop.
I put some code that would write out a trace of sorts, but it seems that my code is never called. It looks like Asp.Net is calling one of my application’s pages, but when it gets there, it is rerouted elsewhere, and the loop repeats.
How can I find the problem, if MY code is not being called?
Help is MOST appreciated.

Have you verified all the settings for the 7.5 as was in 7.0.?
If so then check whether framework is installed.?

Since I do not have physical access to the 7.0 machine, I can only compare the settings I see in the IIS Manager for Remote Administration.
There are some things that I know I am not using in my website that are present on the 7.0 machine, but not on the 7.5 machine, such as PHP.
Is there a way for me to trace what Asp.Net is doing, so I can figure out the details?

in order to find out the error, try to create a simple hello world print out aspx and see if you are able to load it
if the result is the same error then you know that something wrong with the asp.net framework, reinstall will od or you can try aspnet_iisregis -i in command prompt
