I have a user control, whose PartialCaching is set as 120 seconds.
public partial class TimeControl : System.Web.UI.UserControl
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
txtCurrentTime.Text = DateTime.Now.ToString();
I want to forcibly expire the cache for the user control from the server side. Is ther any way to do this?

Thanks. Substitution is different from what i am looking for. Substitution prevents a certian portion from caching. What i was asking is opposite. I wanted to forcibly expiry a object which is already cached even before it expires systmatically

You can try to use the DataCache.Remove method. Hope it will help you.
