Hi I have a requirement to create all web sites pages dynamically uisng XSLT and XML documents.
I have created the standared XSLT file which read the standared XML document. But my requirement is that I am receiving plain XML file from a web serivce which tells only the fields to be displayed on a web page e.g.
And To render the Final HTML with controls,CSS and Validations rules I need to refer a file which we call as Data dictionary which atcually stroes the schema definiations e.g Field name,Control Type,Required,Validations
How can I merege this Data ditionary with the received XML files so that a Final XML become ready for XSLT to transform the UI.

Not seeing your dictionary instance and its existing values yet……However in my mind，I think you can first use XSLT to generate a "frame" （pure html for styles or cees……），and then dynamically subsitute them for values in the dictionary。

Data dictionary format yet to decided actually depending upon the feasibility I assume it some thing like Data table which having a unique ID for per page
in the web site .So I am receving the raw xml which contains only the columns names more likly Labels of a form and some master values
to shown into the combo box or list box.And Then by looking into this raw xml I will match it with some thing DD(what it could be some xml file??)
to find that for Firstname label there is textbox validations are required and only alpha values can enter having length 10 characters..!!
How the above objective can be achieved it a requirement but the format of container which we are calling Data dictionary is not finzalized yet..?
Is there any way where XSLT can look into some document before creating a control?
Is there any way to combine the raw xml with DD and prepare a standard XML file which is understood by the xslt file..?

I'm not sure if this is near what you are looking for; but check it out:
