Windows Updates auto updated our wintel 2008 servers today morning and one of my web forms stopped working - got two related messages (1. The URL-encoded form data is not valid. 2. Operation not valid due to the current state of the object ). This particular
web form was data entry intensive. Explicitely specifying a numeric value for the MaxHttpCollectionKeys app setting resolved the issue.

Unless your application is dynamically adding controls, you should be able to estimate this number in a test environment - you can increase the number in small increments as you test the web form that contains a lot of controls.
