i have a report viewer with a report1.rdlc attached to dataset1.xsd
the report is visble but only one record
also i need to pass few parameters to the report based on which the report will be displayed
the parmater data will be selected from drop downcontrols
in reporting which option is more optable crystalreport or MS reporting srvice??
instead of using from properties i wuld like to code it as i need to prerform some calculations on some fields before displaying in the report

MS Reporting service is anytime better as it has most of the functunalities that will ease your work on coding the parameters and all.
Most of the calculations can be done through writing expressions in the reports.
You can also deploy the reports in the ssrs and through microsoft report viewer you can integrate the reports from the server into your web application.
Check the following link from msdn which will give you a idea about the features in ssrs
Also for developing the reports you can use Report Builder tools like ReportBuilder Version 3.0 latest.
