When I click any of my menu items, they display a border around them.
How can I set this to transparent?
I've tried setting all the static and dynamic border properties from the menu properties tab to none and from a css class but this orange border is still displayed when the items are clicked. Actually, even when I set the border to some color it isn't displayed

Can you share the code?

I've wrote the menu code manually, not bound to a sitemap datasource. Also using the Ajax control toolkit for the rounded corners of the menu items.
<asp:RoundedCornersExtender ID="RoundedCornersExtender3" runat="server" TargetControlID="Menu1" Radius="15" Corners="Top">
<asp:Menu ID="Menu1" runat="server" CssClass="menucells" StaticMenuItemStyle-CssClass="menuitem">
<StaticSelectedStyle BackColor="#F3CFCE" />
<asp:MenuItem NavigateUrl="~/Default.aspx" Text="Home">

Yeah, already tried that, I'm still getting the same results. On IE9 I get a dotted, white colored border too. Not to mention that
works for the menu but not the panel control in IE9. Got to hate difference in rendering from browser to browser...
