I've got a report, consisting of a main report, and 3 subreports. The 3 subreports obviously use the parameters from the main report to render.
I have an asp:ImageButton outside of the ReportViewer control that passes a True/False parameter to the report that controls the visibility of a row group (collapse/expand all, basically).
I'm looking to get rid of the image button and use an image/textbox within the report that will change the parameter value when clicked on. Is it possible to somehow do this? I was thinking Text Box Properties>Action>Go to report>Specify the same report
I'm in, and change the parameter there.
I set the parameter (@prmCE) to true and when the page renders I get this:
An error occured during local report processing.
An attempt was made to set a report parameter '@prmCE' that is not defined in this report.
This doesn't seem right to me, though, because that parameter IS defined in the report...
Any thoughts, different methods, etc?

Please try putting value in Text Box Properties>Action>Go to report> Parameters
This should work.

Hopefully I'm understanding this correctly...if so, then that's what we do regularly in our implementation, using SSRS as a web-based dashboard tool.
Create an object within the report and associate an "Go to report" Action with it, as you suggested. Call the same report name and pass in whatever new parameters required to rebuild the page.
