I am developing a data-driven site and I had a database (.mdf file) that I got from a friend. I connected the database to my project and it is visible in the Server Explorer. Now whenever I try to view a table from right clicking the table and choosing show
table data, I get the error "The Specified Module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)".
Can anyone tell me what it is and how to work around it?
PS: I also try to open the database in MSSQL Management Studio. I get the error that says I should make sure to have an application that can open a .mdf file.

You're missing a dll assembly reference - take a look at your web config and verify that your connection string references the correct SQL Driver.

Ok, that is quite interesting indeed. What I would do is load Sql Management Studio on your development system and see if you can access the database. Chances are if you get the error that way, they may not be permitting connections to the database from
remote systems or it could be McAfee Antivirus.
