hello guys how are you ,,,,
im working on an old system include graph reports ..... i need to Edit this reports when i finish editing and try to save ma changes this message will appear
"" this report was saved in previous version of crystal report using an older report file format if this report re-saved in the current version the file will be upgraded to to anew file format which may not compatible with previous version of crystal report
when i save it the report does not open ,,,,, i undo this action but really need to change it ,,,
if can any one help me

It seems that you are facing "compatibility issue" here. Your reports was developed with an older Crystal Report version, while when you try to convert it, it will not work with the new Crystal Report version installed on your system.
1. Please check your system and please make sure that only one Crystal Report version is installed
2. You need to install Crystal Report version that is "recognised" by your reports OR you may need to re-build your report with the new Crystal Report version.
Please also advise the CR version you are using then and now so that I can make a comparison test. Thanks heaps!

the system is build and run Via VS 2005 ,,,, im working on VS 2005 but ???
VS 2008 is installed on my PC is this may cause the problem ,,,,,

what is important here is that you need to check the Crystal Report version installed on your system and you need to make sure it matches with the CR version used on your application
