I have an issue that i've been working on for quite some time without even a hint of an idea of how to solve it. Here's the thing, I have that has information about cities. Every city can have several articles. For both the city information and the articles
I am using FCKeditor for text editing. In the project I am also using nHibernate (its an ASP.NET MVC 3 proj btw). The information saved goes straight into an Ms SQL database.
When I save an article, the starting tag of every link is being removed. Here's the result of a test I made "Testing a google</a> link". I have debugged and followed the text all the way through to the saving process and I don't loose the link anywhere, untill
I search for it in the database, thats when I see that it's gone. I don't know where I loose it but somewhere between saving it and it going to the database.
The wierd thing is that the information about the city is using the same codes, but saved in a different table, and here it works just fine. I've compared them 2 and they are identical.
The table is of type 'text' and the nhibernate map contains StringClob to avoid limitations.
Have anyone experienced anything similar before? Got any ideas? Appreciate any help!
I tried to code the link into the textfield (test purpose) using this code:
info.Text = "Testing a <a href='www.google.com' target='_blank'>google</a> link"
with no result. But then I removed the href tag and just had:
info.Text = "Testing a <a target='_blank'>google</a> link"
and this worked, the link was saved and is now viewable on the site!
Why is it that href is the one which is ruining things?!
