hi, im new in Linq. i will learn how to connect to sql server 2005 and insert, update, delete information. I searched a lot on EBooks, Youtube, etc buut all of them explained it with Sql Server Express and i dont use Sql Server Express. could someone tell
me how can i learn how to connect to Sql Server Statndard Edition and use Database Model, Entity Framework and other tools to make the classes and etc, easiere?

SQL Express is NOT different thatn sql. Its just limited

You know. in all books explaind to make the class automatically for your Table you should Drag the table into Design. when i dont use Sql Express then i cant see the tables in Server Explorer and drag it. in fact i never use Sql Server Express and Server

Hello, Please just install your SQL standard first, and then change your web.config (or app.config)'s connection string to something like this:
Attention——"Server=." means your server has no instance name.But this is due to your own situation of your installed SQL Standard version.
For LINQ： you can first create several related tables in the SQL Standard version, and then use Sql Explorer in the VS, and then drag and drop several table into the dbml file to generate model classes.
For EF: Just create an emdx file and then according to the wizard, import several tables you want from Sql standard version.
