I'm using SSRS 2005. I have a report that I have been using for years, which I pass a parameter to using the query string. The parameter will sometimes contain a ">" or "<" symbol depending on what the user selected in a menu. Example:
Within the last week, this has stopped working. Suddenly, I can put anything in the Param1 except for ">" or "<" symbols. If the value contains either of those symbols, I get a "The page cannot be found" error. I have tried URL encoding the symbol (%3E or
%3C), and get the same error.
I created a dummy report, and found that this happens even if the parameter is not even used in the report design whatsoever, and also is not passed on to the datasource. I CAN manually type ">" into the parameter box when I run the report in report viewer.
Then in the box at the top of the report, type ">" and click "View Report". This works fine.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try "Greater than" & "Less than" in drop down parameter list.
in stored proc use if else statement
Create Proc SP_GreaterLess
(@Sign varchar(max) )
if @Sign = "Greater than" then
