The other day I read that SQL Express has a limitation of total 3GB storage usage and once it hit the size, we cannot store anymore data in it. There's one Express running in our live environment for like 4 years and I am not sure how much storage so far
it has been utilized. (I am kind of thinking of what should I do to reduce the size, migrate to standard version or something).
I have no idea how I can check the total usage space of my current database (as accurate as possible). So far I found out one stored procedure sp_spaceused but I am not sure whether it's showing the correct figure or not. According to it, it's only like
11MB so far which kind of making me to have a lot of doubts (4 years only 11MB !! come on). Any other method that would allow me to check the total usage of that database, would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Loing using Sql Server Management Studio.., Go to the databases -> You can see list of databases.,
Right Click on any database -> Select properties -> Under General Tab you see the size of the database..
