A few weeks back I tried to upgrade i.e. manaually configure, my IIS7 to .NET framework v4.0 from v2.0. I figured out a
solution which you may find here. Though recently I have realised I need to downgrade the framework to v3.5, Unless v4.0 allows 3.5 project, which I think it might?
I looked in C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework(64)\V3.5 for the aspnet_regiis.exe, so I could execute in the comand promt as administrator. Well, it exists in the V2.0 and v4.0 folders but not in v3.5, any suggestions?
So, my question is, where is the aspnet_regiis.exe for v3.5 or can I build 3.5 solutions on IIS7 with v4.0 running, using http, whilst rolling VS2010 back to framework v3.5?
As always, thanks for your help!

For .NET 3.5 projects you need to select .NET 2.0 for IIS. The additional 3.5 features are loaded through web.config settings on top of .NET 2.0.
