I developed a web application that selects a data source from drop downlist and generates xml's for that datasource when generate button is clicked and send s generated xml's to helath vault when i click send button.
I want to schedule this application such that it will run every day at specified time.
Can anyone give me some code or example code of similar application. I am stuck at this point.

No need to write any code to run your page on specific time period. You just have to make some settings in your iis if you want to run it online
and for offline

This is a duplicate thread of the one you created here:
Schedule vb.net application:
Did you read the link I provided for creating a Windows Service to run periodically to do the tasks you want? Here are probably your main options:
3 main options:
1. .NET .exe run daily at time specified using Windows Task Scheduler
2. .NET Windows Service that runs code on interval or at time specified via code. Similar to the following link
3. SQL Server Job
Each has their pros & cons. The 1st (2) allow ease of running .NET Managed code. The 3rd option in SQL can still execute CLR code using SQL Server CLR Integration. 1st are outside of SQL last inside so depending on where your administrative privileges and
comfort with technology reside, may dictate the best solution.
You are going to need to have the code you want to run on interval to send those files. Essentially all you need to do is use the template for any of the above options for running code on interval, and then adding to it the code you already have that sends
If you do not understand the concepts in the options above, I recommend getting more familiar with them so that you can understand periodic processing. The link I provided you with previously has the links within to create a windows service and have it run
code on interval. The links below will help further:
Hope this helps!
