Im using Windows server 2003. I have default website setup using no header. To browse to this site I just login to the server and browse to http://localhost. This works fine.
However, I would like to setup a new website. But I keep getting HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found. Can anyone please help?
This is how I created it:
I right click, new website, browse to where files are. The header i use is 'info' port 80 default IP. I can now see the default website and my info site underneath it in IIS
When I browse to localhost/info, I get the 404 error. Can someone please tell me how I browse to my site? It just contains a basic default.aspx at the moment.
If I browse to http://info, it uses bing to search for my site.

You could have only one localhost site. The other options are to setup host headers with appropriate DNS settings, or to create the second site as localhost virtual subfolder.

Thanks very much for your reply.
Could I setup a host header locally so i can use it for testing?
I cant use the current localhost, as it used for something else.
